City of Glasgow gymnasts win medals in Scottish Acrobatic Championships

Congratulations to:

Lucy Jo Wilson & Olivia McKendrick bronze medal with an excellent performance in their first competition as a pair Josh McKay & Olivia Penman (Grade 1 mixed pair) won gold medal.
Hannah Collie & Sileas MacGriogar (Grade 1 women’s pair) performed very well in their first competitive outing and did the club proud in a very hotly contested competition
Lee McHarg & Kerri McLellan (Grade 2 women’s pair) performed a well polished routine but finished just outside of the medals but we could not have asked for more from the girls in a hotly contested group, they did the club proud.
Lewis Deas & Kirsty McLean (Grade 2 mixed pair) won the gold medal
Ian McLean & Marcus Hunter (Grade 2 men’s pair) should receive special mention for scoring 26.65 the Highest N.D.P score of the competition
Kirsty McManus, Catriona Holland & Isla Kennedy (Grade 3 women’s trios) gold medal following two solid routines
Fraser Shepherd, Greg Robertson, James Thompson & Colin Drysdale (11-16 men’s group) wowed crowds with two solid and well executed routines picking up a well earned gold medal
Craig Downie & Mitchell Smith (11-16 men’s pair) won gold medal with 26.9 - the highest score of the whole competition congratulations boys.
Congratulations to all the gymnasts who attended this event - their performances and behaviour were a credit to the City of Glasgow Gymnastics Club.
